    Applications

Tert-Amyl peroxy-2-ethylhexanoate is commonly used as a radical initiator in the polymerization of various monomers. It is particularly suitable for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl ester resins, leading to the production of composite materials, coatings, and adhesives. Additionally, it can be used in the production of thermoset plastics and elastomers. Tert-Amyl peroxy-2-ethylhexanoate finds applications in the manufacturing of polymer-based products where the initiation of radical polymerization is required. It is known for its ability to initiate the cross-linking and polymerization processes, contributing to the formation of strong and durable polymer materials.
