The Application Of Benzoyl Peroxide

Benzoyl peroxide is a widely used initiator in the adhesive industry. It is used as an initiator for acrylates, vinyl acetate solvent polymerization, chloroprene rubber, unsaturated polyester resin curing, and organic glass adhesives. It can also be used as vulcanizing agent and cross-linking agent for silicone rubber and fluorine rubber. Can also be used as a bleaching agent and oxidizing agent.

Powder BPO are mainly used as polymerization initiation catalysts for acrylic resins, MMA resins, etc. In recent years, as a fast adhesive in highway engineering, paste BPO are used as curing catalysts in polyester resin molding processing. The liquid type is used as a polymerization catalyst to prepare polystyrene resin.

Mainly used as PVC, polyacrylonitrile polymerization initiator, unsaturated polyester and acrylate cross-linking agent. It is used as a cross-linking agent for silicone rubber and fluorine rubber in the rubber industry. It can also be used as a bleaching agent and oxidizing agent in chemical production.
