    Applications

1,1-Di(tert-butylperoxy) cyclohexane is commonly used as a cross-linking agent and curing agent in the production of various polymers and elastomers. It is particularly suitable for the cross-linking of polyethylene and the curing of unsaturated polyester resins, contributing to the enhancement of mechanical properties and thermal stability in the resulting materials. Additionally, it finds applications in the manufacturing of rubber products, where the cross-linking process is essential for improving the strength and durability of the final rubber compounds.
Polymerization of styrene: CH80 can be used for the bulk polymerization of styrene in the temperature range between 90 and 120°C. Other applications: CH80 can also be used for the (co)polymerization of styrene, acrylonitrile, acrylates and methacrylates in the temperature range between 95°C and 125°C.
